celia & hanh • wedding: Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

this past saturday, i had the absolute joy of capturing celia & hanh’s wedding day. it’s funny, because no matter how many weddings i attend, i still tear up at the ceremony or get all choked up during the speeches at the reception. it just never gets old for me. this wedding….wow, i was all choked up many times throughout the day, because this couple is just so beautiful.

when celia and i met for coffee back in january to chat about her wedding day, she told me she had long ago given up on marriage. but then she moved next door to hanh, that all changed. hanh’s mail was delivered to her house one day by accident, so celia walked over to his place to return it. not too long after that, hanh stopped by celia’s place to see if she would like to do their landscaping together. after that, the rest was history. the two were engaged and all their family and friends from around the world (paris, hong kong, & the philippines) were in edmonton to celebrate with them. here are a few images from the day. celia & hanh, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of such a great celebration!

sarah & jerome • engagement: Friday, August 27th, 2010

as you may already know, i love photography. i also love travelling. so when i can put those two things together, i can hardly handle it! sarah & jerome were engaged in banff earlier this summer, so i headed out to banff to take their engagement photos in this special little spot. i love how these two interact…they are so in love, and have so much fun together. we even did some photos with jerome and his guitar because he and sarah are both musicians. plus, you’ll notice that jerome makes sarah laugh all the time! so fun to capture:) check out the photos…maybe you’ll be inspired to take a little trip over to banff yourself!
